filling Station, NoD, and CJSW present the 5th annual Calgary Blow-Out, held July 2 at Pages Books on Kensington and July 3 & 4 at Arrata Opera Centre in downtown Calgary.

This festival of innovative & original literature & art in its 5th year is bigger than ever! We're also expanding last year's inaugeral book fair into the Independent Press & Arts Fair. Micropress, small press, and artists producing art objets, artful handicrafts, and other smaller pieces will fill Arrata Opera Centre from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The events overlaps with the aforementioned Art Show & Sale's reception held from 1-4 pm. Fair vendors are welcome to enjoy the reception which includes music and refreshments.
